Hello Greg,

First of all Riyo really needs his stuff as soon as possible. We were on vacation for a week and he is out.

OK, now onto some Riyo stories. We went to Disneyworld for a week and just got back last night. Two years ago when we went the plane trip was awful for Riyo. His ears hurt so bad he cried and did not want to get on the plane to go home.

THIS year he LOVED it! He was so good the whole trip and he loved watching out the window and you could tell he really was looking at everything. The funniest part was when the plane would bank a little he would lean with the plane. We flew during the day so he really got to see a lot.

But when it came to taking him to the parks he did not want to go at all. We would ask him if wanted to go see the castle or pooh and he would say nono nooooooooooo.  One day we decided to try to take him and when we got to the gate of the park his heart started racing and he would just run the other way (he never runs from us) so we just figured if he is that scared it's not worth it.

Rick took him back to the hotel (which was an amazing place) and they swam for hours every day. It was 80 degrees there. We always take my mother to help watch Riyo so we could go to the park with Elam. There was 6 of us and we all took turns coming and going to the parks. Riyo had a great time! And when Riyo is happy we all are happy.

I have to tell you one more story about what happened 2 weeks ago. My son Elam plays piano, but Riyo does not let him practice so we take him to a church to practice. One night we said try at home and see if Riyo will let you play. Elam started to play and Riyo just sat in the same room and let him play. We were all in shock.

THEN about an hour later I was in the shower and heard the piano again and I just thought Elam was playing, until Rick started yelling for me to come quick. So I ran out of the shower soaked and wet and there was Riyo playing the piano. Not just pounding the keys or playing around... he was actually playing classical music for 20 min non stop. There we all stood wanting to scream and jump up and down (me in a towel), just in shock.

He has not played since that night............. but now we know it is in his little mind and body to do so. So we wait for it to happen again.

Over all he is doing good.

We will probably be down in 2 weeks for his treatment. I will email and let you know what day.
